This teapot is a work of art! The unique surface pattern is achieved with the Mogake technique, a centuries-old Japanese method that uses seaweed to create a beautiful matte brown patina. The pot is fired twice : first in an oxidation chamber with the seaweed, and then in a lower temperature reduction chamber. The result is a unique and elegant teapot that will make your tea time unforgettable.
