Japanese donburi bowls

Donburi names both the dish and the bowl it arrives in: deep, wide, and large enough to hold rice with a topping rather than rice alone. Ours are made in Mino and Hasami, several with matching lids that keep everything hot on the way to the table. Cook the dish itself with our katsudon, oyakodon and gyudon essentials. Compare capacities in our Japanese bowl size guide, or browse every shape in the Japanese bowls collection. See also our Kobachi small bowls and Matcha bowls collections.
