Japanese donabe clay pots

The donabe is the earthenware pot that sits in the middle of the table for every Japanese hot pot (nabe, shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, oden), and doubles as a rice cooker on the stove. Ours are made in Banko ware from Yokkaichi, the clay body that tolerates direct flame and holds heat long after the burner is off. See our hot pot essentials to complete the set, or browse all Japanese cooking pots. These pieces are part of our wider selection of Cookware. See also our Frypans & skillets collection.
