Ume Hana tea tin

This tea tin, designed by Hakoya and made in Japan, has been especially designed to store matcha tea or sencha tea. 

The capacity of 11.8 oz (350 ml) is enough to store also other things than tea in this neat canister.

The flower on the main lid is a plum flower. In Japan, the plum is associated with the start of spring, because plum blossoms are some of the first blossoms to open during the year.

This tea canister includes the main box, an inner lid and the main lid but the lids are not airtight.

Even if the main propose of this caddy is for tea, this elegant Japanese tea caddy will perfectly contains tea, coffee or sweets.
